My love for Biological Sciences took me to graduate with the Sciences from the University of Calcutta. Since then life had to take its ebb and flow as I drifted into various disciplines throughout my working career. I finished my MBA majoring in International Business from the United Business Institutes, Brussels.
While working for a certain foreign Banking MNC I was given the responsibility to devise the strategy document for their Debt Management business for Secured Assets. I had found my love in Strategizing. Eventually I ended up exactly where I belonged. I took almost a year’s hiatus to complete the most enriching specialization in Strategic Management (as a discipline) from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. In fact we were the first batch for this new discipline at IIM for which we also became the de facto spear heading alumni so to say!
My love for the financial world and a good 14 years of exposure took me into another exciting science: Derivatives and Technical Trading. Soon thereafter I got myself enrolled with the Trading Academy, Mumbai and was trained by a fantastic Trader from Wall Street: Matt Ildea. I graduated with honors by the time I was thinking of venturing out into my own. That happened eventually and so did my parallel life as a Certified Trading Professional. Today I don’t trade for a living, but never pass an opportunity to exploit a good trade!
Thanks to my exposures in these disciplines today I take pride in dabbling in many hats. And all these continue to happen out of sheer love and passion for learning.
